Where to find Knoydart on a
Map of Scotland...

The Knoydart Peninsula lies in the Northwest Scottish Highlands between the Loch of Heaven (Loch Nevis) and the Loch of Hell (Loch Hourn), 2 miles north of Mallaig and 150 miles north of Glasgow.

Looking out to sea from Knoydart, you can see the Cuillin mountains rising sharply upwards on the Isle of Skye as well as the Inner Hebridean Isles of Rum, Eigg and Muck.

To the south of Knoydart, at the southern entrance to Loch Nibheis stands the fishing port village of Mallaig - the terminus of the West Highland Railway Line from Glasgow and also the departure point for the Caledonian MacBrayne ferries heading northwest to Skye.
